Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

Template - pending legal review. This is a working draft to be reviewed and finalised by a qualified South African attorney before EventHub Pro is offered commercially. It is not yet a binding agreement.

1. Who we are

EventHub Pro is operated by Jozi Blocks (Pty) Ltd ("we", "us"), under operational licence to Raley Digital. These Terms govern your access to and use of the EventHub Pro platform (the "Service").

2. Accounts and tenants

When you sign up you create an organisation ("tenant"). You are responsible for the activity of all users under your tenant, for keeping credentials secure, and for the accuracy of the information you provide. You must be authorised to bind your organisation to these Terms.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to send spam, upload unlawful content, infringe intellectual property, attempt to access other tenants' data, probe or breach security, or resell the Service without written permission. We may throttle or suspend accounts that threaten platform stability or other customers.

4. Fees, billing and refunds

Paid plans are billed per the pricing shown at sign-up or as agreed in writing. Ticketing payments from your attendees are processed through third-party gateways (e.g. PayFast, Paystack); their terms and fees also apply. You are responsible for issuing refunds to your own attendees. Platform subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Your data and your attendees' data

You retain ownership of the data you and your attendees put into the Service. You appoint us as your operator/processor for that personal information under POPIA. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. You are the responsible party for your attendees' data and must have a lawful basis to collect it.

6. Availability

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation during the beta period. Any service-level commitments will be set out separately in a signed agreement.

7. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time (Settings β†’ Data Privacy). We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms or non-payment, with reasonable notice where practical. On termination you may export your data for a limited period before it is deleted or anonymised.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" during beta, and our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the preceding three months. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the acts of third-party payment gateways.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; we will post the revised version here with a new "last updated" date and, for material changes, notify tenant administrators.

10. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Questions: contact us.
